Cem Tilki starts his tourism career in the Department of Tourism of Haydarpaşa Trade High School. He continues his higher education at the Eastern Mediterranean University, Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, Famagusta, north Cyprus. After his graduation, he continues his professional career in Cyprus and in Scotland, England, France and Italy.

Tilki, participated and represented wine merchants in international wine fairs, while he was working in London in the positions of wine shop manager and retail manager. He also took part in the wine Master Class tastings held in London and writes articles on wine to make wine culture better understood. Tilki, have an experience on grape harvest and Chianti winemaking in Tuscany, Italy and Cyprus.

Currently, he teaches Wine and Food Experience course in English at EMU Tourism Faculty, Wine course, restaurant management, beverage culture and tour guiding courses at International Final University Tourism and Culinary Arts department and teaches wine at Vatel International Hospitality Management School.

Tilki, who also gives Gastronomy training at the Taner Akcan Apprenticeship School in Nicosia, offers wine courses to wine enthusiasts with different levels, and courses on wine culture and service to hospitality sector employees in the Wine Travelers Club, which he is the founder and manager of and is an associate member of EURHODIP. It also provides consultancy in this direction.
